AK Nexus App: Booking AC Service and Relocation from Your Phone

A short guide to the AK Nexus app: what each category covers, the four details that make a booking accurate, and the cases where a phone call is faster.

AK Nexus app home screen showing AC service and relocation categories

AK Nexus exists because most service enquiries are still handled by phone calls that repeat the same eight questions. The app moves that intake into a form, so the right team receives a complete request rather than a name and a number. This guide explains how to use it well — and when a call is still the better route.

What the app covers

AK Nexus groups the group's services into four booking categories:

  • Air conditioning: servicing at the level you select, installation, uninstallation and shifting, gas charging after diagnosis, and repairs.
  • Appliance repair: household appliances handled by the service network, scoped per appliance.
  • Packers and movers: household and office relocation, local and outstation, with an inventory-based quotation.
  • Other home services: additional maintenance categories as they are added to the network.

Each category routes to the team that handles it, which matters when a request mixes two — a move that also needs the AC taken down and reinstalled, for example.

The four details that make a booking accurate

Most back-and-forth in service booking comes from four missing facts. Enter them and the quote arrives in one pass.

  1. Unit or item type. Split, window, cassette or ducted for AC; for a move, the property type and rough inventory.
  2. Tonnage or capacity for AC — printed on the indoor unit sticker. It changes labour and pricing.
  3. Access. Floor number, lift availability, and whether the outdoor unit is reachable from a balcony.
  4. The symptom or scope. “Not cooling since last week, outdoor fan runs” is a diagnosis path; “service needed” is not.

One photograph of the indoor unit and one of the outdoor unit answers several of these at once. It is the single most useful thing you can attach.

Choosing the right service level

The app lets you pick a service level, so it helps to know what you are picking.

LevelBest forRate
Dry / liteServiced within the last year, airflow only₹399
Standard jetAnnual service, coil and blower cleaning₹549
Foam jetOdour, visible coil soil, monsoon mould₹649
Deep dismantleTwo or more years unserviced, post-renovation₹1,349

If you are unsure, book an inspection and let the technician confirm the level on site. That is cheaper than paying for deep dismantling a unit that only needed a jet wash.

What happens after you submit

A request is reviewed by the relevant team, not dropped into a queue. Expect the sequence:

Review. The request is checked for the details above; if something is missing, you are asked once rather than repeatedly.

Confirmation. Scope and charges are confirmed before the visit — including anything that depends on inspection, such as a cassette unit or a move quotation.

Scheduling. A slot is offered based on the area and the team's route. Slots are more flexible on weekdays than on weekends and month-ends.

Visit and record. Work is completed, and the sheet records what was done, any parts used, and the next recommended service date.

When to call instead

The app is the right route for planned work. A phone call is faster in four situations:

  • Water leaking now — a live leak needs a person on the phone, not a form.
  • Electrical tripping or burning smell — switch off at the isolator and call immediately.
  • Same-day requirement — calling lets the team check the route before committing.
  • Complex commercial sites — multiple units across floors are easier to scope in a conversation than in a form.

The number on the website and in the app is +91 90047 64942. WhatsApp is often the fastest channel for a photo plus a short description. WhatsApp is often the fastest channel for a photo plus a short description.

Getting the best out of a service visit

Three small things improve outcomes regardless of how the booking was made.

Be there, or send someone who can decide. A technician who cannot get approval for a ₹300 part will leave and return, and the second visit costs somebody time.

Clear the area. Access to the indoor unit, a socket, and water within reach. Furniture moved before arrival saves fifteen minutes per unit.

Ask for the findings. At the end of the visit, ask what condition the unit is in, what was not addressed, and when the next service is due. That short conversation is what turns a one-off booking into managed maintenance — and it is the reason the app records the history.

Key takeaways

  • Four details — type, tonnage, access, symptom — make a booking accurate.
  • Attach a photo of both indoor and outdoor units.
  • Book an inspection if you are unsure of the service level.
  • Call, do not book, for live leaks or electrical faults.
  • Ask for findings and the next service date at the end of every visit.

Frequently asked questions

Is the AK Nexus app available on Android?

Yes — AK Nexus: AC & Home Services is published on Google Play. If you cannot install it, the same request can be submitted from the website or by phone.

How quickly does a booking get confirmed?

Requests are reviewed by the relevant team and confirmed with scope and charges before the visit. Complex jobs such as cassette servicing or relocation quotes may need an inspection first.

Can I book a move and AC shifting together?

Yes. Mention both in the request so the relocation team and the aircon team are scheduled around the same date.
