We reserve the right to restrict access where there is reasonable evidence of misuse or unlawful activity.

4. Quotations and bookings

1. Enquiries submitted through the website, telephone, email or WhatsApp are requests for information or quotations.

2. An enquiry does not automatically constitute a confirmed booking or contractual commitment.

3. A booking is confirmed only after acceptance by our authorised representative and completion of applicable confirmation requirements.

4. Service availability depends on location, equipment, manpower, schedule and operational conditions.

5. The final price, scope, materials, service date and applicable conditions will be communicated before work begins.

6. Any additional work outside the approved scope requires customer approval.

7. Quotations may have a stated validity period. Where no validity is specified, availability and pricing must be reconfirmed before acceptance.

5. AK Aircon Services – specific terms

5.1 Scope of services

AK Aircon Services may provide:

  • AC installation and uninstallation.
  • AC servicing and chemical cleaning.
  • Gas charging and refrigerant-related work.
  • Leakage detection and repair.
  • PCB and electrical repairs.
  • Compressor and spare-part replacement.
  • AC shifting and copper piping.
  • Preventive maintenance and AMC contracts.

The exact scope depends on the approved quotation or service order.

5.2 Inspection and diagnosis

A diagnosis or inspection visit does not necessarily include repair or replacement.

Where an inspection fee applies, it will be communicated before confirmation.

A technician may identify additional faults during inspection or dismantling. Such work will be quoted separately and will require customer approval.

5.3 Pricing and additional charges

  • Website prices are indicative of the listed service and equipment category.
  • Prices may vary for unusual equipment, higher-capacity units, difficult access, non-standard installation or additional materials.
  • Additional charges will be disclosed and approved before the additional work is performed.
  • Installation materials, extra piping, brackets, electrical modifications, civil work and other excluded items are charged separately where applicable.
  • Applicable taxes will be disclosed in the quotation or invoice.

No additional paid work should be performed without the customer's approval, except where immediate action is legally required or necessary to prevent an imminent safety risk.

5.4 Equipment condition and pre-existing faults

Customers should inform our technicians about known equipment defects, previous repairs, electrical issues, water leakage and unusual operating conditions.

AK Aircon Services is not responsible for unrelated pre-existing defects or failures that are not caused by our work.

However, we remain responsible for damage or loss attributable to our negligence, defective workmanship or breach of applicable legal obligations.

5.5 Repair and performance disclaimer

Air-conditioning equipment contains electrical, mechanical and refrigeration components that may develop faults independently.

We do not guarantee:

  • That every fault can be repaired.
  • That equipment will remain permanently fault-free after repair.
  • A fixed level of cooling or energy savings without an appropriate assessment.
  • The future lifespan of existing equipment.

Any applicable workmanship warranty or replacement-part warranty will be communicated in writing.

Nothing in this section removes responsibility for defective workmanship or other liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

5.6 Spare parts and replacements

Replacement parts may be new, refurbished or used, depending on the quotation and customer approval.

The condition and applicable warranty of a part must be disclosed before installation.

Manufacturer warranties, where applicable, remain subject to the manufacturer's terms.

5.7 Customer responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the equipment.
  • Ensure electrical supply and access arrangements are available.
  • Inform technicians about known safety hazards.
  • Obtain necessary building or society permissions.
  • Keep valuable and fragile items away from the work area.

6. Annual maintenance contracts (AMC)

AMC services are governed by the separate written AMC agreement.

The AMC agreement will specify:

  • Equipment covered.
  • Number and frequency of visits.
  • Preventive maintenance scope.
  • Breakdown support.
  • Parts and consumables included or excluded.
  • Response commitments, where applicable.
  • Contract duration and payment schedule.
  • Renewal and termination conditions.

An AMC enquiry or inspection does not constitute an active contract.

Any advance payment, cancellation provision or refund condition must be specified in the signed agreement and remain subject to applicable law.

7. AK Packers & Movers – specific terms

7.1 Quotations and inventory

Moving quotations are prepared based on information supplied by the customer, including:

  • Pickup and delivery locations.
  • Inventory and approximate shipment volume.
  • Floor and lift access.
  • Packing requirements.
  • Distance and route.
  • Loading and unloading requirements.
  • Additional handling or storage requirements.

Material changes in inventory, route, access or service requirements may result in a revised quotation, which must be approved before the additional work is undertaken.

7.2 Packing and handling

The agreed quotation will identify the packing, loading, transportation and unloading services included.

Dismantling, reassembly, specialised handling, unpacking and storage are included only where expressly agreed.

Customers should disclose fragile, valuable, unusually heavy or hazardous items before the move.

7.3 Customer responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide accurate inventory and location details.
  • Disclose fragile, valuable and restricted goods.
  • Remove cash, jewellery, important documents and personal valuables from ordinary household shipments.
  • Ensure reasonable access to pickup and delivery locations.
  • Arrange necessary permissions for building access, parking and loading.
  • Be available or appoint an authorised representative for inventory verification and delivery acknowledgement.

7.4 Prohibited and restricted items

Unless specifically agreed and legally permitted, customers must not include:

  • Illegal goods.
  • Explosives and dangerous substances.
  • Flammable or hazardous chemicals.
  • Illegal drugs and controlled substances.
  • Perishable goods.
  • Cash, jewellery and negotiable instruments.
  • Items prohibited by applicable transportation laws.

We may refuse goods that present legal, safety or operational risks.

7.5 Transportation and delivery

Estimated transportation and delivery dates are communicated based on the agreed route and operational conditions.

Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, road restrictions, vehicle breakdowns, government restrictions or other circumstances beyond reasonable operational control.

We will communicate material delays where reasonably possible.

7.6 Loss or damage during relocation

Customers should inspect goods at delivery and promptly report visible damage or shortages.

Any complaint should include:

  • Booking or invoice reference.
  • Description of the affected item.
  • Photographs or supporting evidence, where available.
  • Details of the damage or shortage.

AK Packers & Movers will investigate complaints fairly and assess responsibility based on the agreed scope, evidence and applicable law.

We will not automatically disclaim liability for loss or damage caused by our negligence, misconduct, breach of contract or the negligence of personnel for whom we are legally responsible.

Any agreed insurance arrangement must be documented separately. Customers should not assume that goods are insured unless written confirmation is provided.

7.7 Special handling and high-value items

Customers must declare valuable, fragile or specialised items before booking.

Special packing, handling, transit protection or additional insurance may require separate charges and written agreement.

8. Payments

  1. Payment methods and payment schedules will be communicated during booking.
  2. Customers must pay the agreed amount through authorised payment channels.
  3. Advance payments, where applicable, will be disclosed before confirmation.
  4. Payment confirmation may be subject to verification by the relevant bank or payment provider.
  5. Customers should retain payment receipts and transaction references.
  6. Outstanding balances must be paid according to the agreed quotation or contract.

No payment should be made to an unauthorised personal account or unknown representative claiming to act for AK Group.

9. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds

  1. Customers should communicate cancellation or rescheduling requests as early as reasonably possible.
  2. Any cancellation charge must be disclosed before the booking is confirmed and must comply with applicable law.
  3. If AK Group cannot provide a confirmed service for reasons attributable to us, the customer will be informed and an appropriate rescheduling or refund will be offered, as applicable.
  4. Refunds for eligible payments will be processed through the original payment channel or another mutually agreed lawful method.
  5. Processing time may depend on the payment provider or bank.
  6. Customised AMC, relocation and other contractual cancellation conditions will be governed by the specific written agreement.

Nothing in this section removes any refund or cancellation rights provided by applicable consumer law.

10. Warranties and service complaints

Any applicable warranty will be documented in the quotation, invoice, service report or separate agreement.

Warranty coverage may differ for labour, spare parts, refurbished parts and manufacturer-supplied components.

A warranty does not ordinarily cover unrelated faults, unauthorised modifications, accidental damage or misuse, unless otherwise required by law.

Customers should contact us promptly if they experience an issue following service so that the matter can be assessed.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AK Group will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable and are not otherwise recoverable under law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Fraud or wilful misconduct.
  • Gross negligence where liability cannot legally be excluded.
  • Personal injury or death caused by negligence.
  • Breach of statutory consumer rights.
  • Loss or damage for which applicable law imposes liability.
  • Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Any compensation or liability assessment will consider the actual circumstances, evidence, applicable contract and governing law.

12. Force majeure

Neither party will be treated as being in breach solely because performance is prevented or materially delayed by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters.
  • Floods and severe weather.
  • Government restrictions.
  • Civil disturbances.
  • Road closures.
  • Strikes or major transport disruptions.
  • Other qualifying force majeure events.

The affected party should notify the other party as soon as reasonably practicable.

This provision does not remove payment, refund or other obligations that remain applicable under law.

13. Intellectual property

All website content, business names, logos, designs, photographs, text and branding elements belong to AK Group or their respective rights holders.

Unauthorised reproduction, distribution or commercial use is prohibited without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

14. Third-party services

Our website may link to external websites, applications and payment providers.

We do not control third-party platforms and are not responsible for their independent content, policies or availability.

Use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and conditions.

15. Privacy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We collect and process personal information according to the stated purposes and applicable data protection laws.

Please read our Privacy Policy before submitting personal information.

16. Grievance redressal

For complaints, service disputes, payment issues or questions regarding these terms, contact:

We will acknowledge and address grievances within the time limits prescribed by applicable law. Where the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules apply, the applicable acknowledgement and resolution timelines will be followed.

17. Suspension or refusal of services

We reserve the right to refuse or suspend a service request where:

  • The requested service is unlawful.
  • The customer provides materially false information.
  • The work presents an unreasonable safety risk.
  • The location or equipment is outside our operational capability.
  • The customer fails to meet agreed payment or access requirements.

Any action will remain subject to existing contractual obligations and applicable consumer rights.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules and the jurisdiction of competent statutory authorities, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Thane District, Maharashtra, where legally permissible.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from approaching a competent consumer commission or other statutory authority.

19. Amendments

AK Group may revise these terms and conditions from time to time.

Updated terms will be published on the website with a revised effective date.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights or obligations arising under an existing confirmed agreement, except where legally permissible.

20. Entire agreement

For an individual booking, the accepted quotation, invoice, service report and any signed service-specific agreement should be read together with these terms and conditions.

Where a specific written agreement conflicts with these general terms, the specific agreement will prevail for that service to the extent legally permissible.
